Therefore, your garage is a major candidate for storage improvements. Of course, you'll discover there are many different options when attempting to improve the storage space you have in your garage.
A good choice is to purchase a modular storage kit, which has parts and components you can mix and match to improve on any storage problem you may have. A second option is to just build your own storage solution. If you have far too many items requiring storage and there isn't enough space in your garage, it's possible a modular storage kit won't provide the solution you need. Any improvements you make to your storage area should help reduce the clutter, as well as give you a place to store seasonal items more conveniently and improve how you organize everything.
You can also consider adding cabinets, shelving, wall-mounted racks or plastic containers to solve your garage storage and organization problems. Cabinets are good for protecting the contents in storage from moisture and dust. Shelves also save space and more efficiently, but for an affordable solution, consider wall-mounted racks.
If you add some clear plastics containers, they will not only provide storage for many items, you'll be able to see at a glance the contents of each container.
