It's also a source of inspiration and motivation for you to start your day by being productive. However, there are some changes you can incorporate into your home offices to make it more spacious and therefore more conducive for working efficiently.
The place to start is to clear all the clutter around your office. Get rid of unnecessary papers such as past drafts, memos etc and try to organize your paperwork for easy accessibility the next time you need it.
Another option is to build or purchase a mounted cabinet to store your office supplies. This type of cabinet is more spacious because they're mounted and won't take an inch of space, which is especially helpful if you have a small office. Choose a cabinet that's bigger so you can stock more stuff on it.
After clearing all the scattered paper work, organize your desktop by ridding yourself of unnecessary items such as picture frames, figurines and the like. Proper lighting also helps to make an office look spacious. You might want to keep the curtains open during the day and the lights on at night. Good lighting will help make your daily tasks easier to complete.
